Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT)

I primarily practice Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT). It helps my clients manage self-defeating and sabotaging thoughts, unhealthy emotions, and disturbed behaviour patterns.

REBT is a goal-oriented, practical approach that assists people in dealing with and overcoming adversity while also achieving their objectives. During the sessions, we would work on emotional, cognitive, and behavioural goals in the context of the identified problem. REBT addresses attitudes, unhealthy emotions, namely, anxiety, unhealthy anger, depression, guilt, and maladaptive behaviours such as procrastination, addictive behaviours, unhealthy eating habits, disturbed sleep disturbances, etc.

It is a client-centered therapy approach that provides continuous and constant empathy for the client’s perceptions, meanings, and feelings. During sessions, I would offer you support, guidance, and structure to help you discover solutions to the problems.

Projective Cards

The projective cards benefit my clients by allowing them to express their emotions and thoughts. These cards give a voice and space to individuals during the therapy sessions. “Roads,” “The River,” and “The World of Trains” are therapeutic tools that were developed by Gali Salpeter, an expressive drama and narrative therapist (M.A.) and published by “Story and Therapy” in Norway. Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction

It is a flexible and guided approach to stress reduction. An in-depth mindfulness practice that includes mind-body, behavioural and emotional awareness. During the sessions, my clients work towards cultivating a greater awareness of the present moment. It includes several guided meditations and exercises to work towards emotional wellbeing.
